Eco

    Eco is a liquid form of power and energy in the Jak and Daxter universe. There are many different kinds of eco that can be used, each with their own effects and uses. Some essential for life, some with the potential to destroy life.

Original Jak and Daxter Ecos:

    Red Eco ****
    • Provides super strength.
    • The user must focus on a desire for strength and power, frustration and anger helps to bring out the desire for power.

    Blue Eco ****
    • Increases speed and provides electric like power.
    • The user must focus on quikness, looseness, and fluidity. They must loosen their muscles, tension restricts the flow of blue eco.

    Green Eco ****
    • Heals wounds.
    • The user must fill them self with love and a true desire to heal the wounds of the injured. Any form of anger or hatred weakens the effects of the green eco.

    Yellow Eco ****
    • Gives the power to fire projectiles of yellow eco.
    • The user must focus on extending their power beyond them self, forming a ball of eco that can be launched at any target.

    Dark Eco ****
    • Destruction and mutation.
    • The user must focus on pure anger and hatred.

    Light Eco ****
    • Construction and evolution.
    • The user must fill them self with a desire to construct life. They must loose all desire to destroy and bring harm to others and things.

    White Eco **** (Though highly debated of it's existence in the first Jak & Daxter game, Gold & Fury uses it.)
    • A combination of Red, Yellow, Blue, and Green, ecos it contains great power and traits of all four.
    • The user must let the eco completely fill them, desiring strength while keeping muscle tension and emotions to a minimum.


Gold and Fury Ecos:

    These ecos were created and used by members of G&F. They are not open for use by those who have not received permission by the creator or G&F Administration before hand. Also the creation of new ecos must be approved by G&F Administration before they can be created and used.

    Black Eco ****
    • Dark eco fused with Red eco.
    • Causes extreme burning, that makes the user feel as though they are on fire.
    • User must feel pure hatred and a desire for death.

    Neutral Eco ****
    • A fusion of Light eco and a slightly larger amount of Dark eco, creating a single extremely unstable eco.
    • Poisonous to the user, it's will corrupt and kill anyone who comes in contact with it who hasn't the willpower to control it as well as the antidote created by Shadow.
    • Through an accident in the laboratory Karras came into contact with the eco, and through unknown circumstances he survived and even gained the ability to channel it years before a cure was created for the effects of the eco.
    • The user must let go of all emotions and emotion driven desires, neutral eco moves with a neutral state of emotion.

    Mixture Ecos ****
    • The combination of two or more ecos to get the effects of those ecos combined.

        Example: Mixing Red eco with Yellow eco.
        • This will result in an Orange eco that both increases the power and strength of the user and allows them to form projectiles of that eco.

    • Note: This form of eco manipulation is temporary and takes a great deal of strength to accomplish, so the characters have a limit to how much they can use this.


Eco Shielding:

    Ecos can be focused into shields that surround the user, protecting them from various attacks. The user must use the same techniques for channeling the desired eco, and focuse on extending the eco beyond them self to form a bubble around them self and/or others.

    Red Eco Shield (*)
    • Small, sphere shaped shield and the shortest lasting shield.
    • Extremely strong, deflecting attacks back at the attacker with more force and power then when it hit the shield.

    Blue Eco Shield (*)
    • Cone shaped, it's a thin line of eco rotating at high velocity around a central point, that lasts for a moderate amount of time.
    • The eco splits attacks on contact, causing them to fly off to either side of the shield.

    Green Eco Shield (*)
    • Sphere shaped shield, it's the most powerful of the pure eco shields and is long lasting.
    • Only shield that can circulate air, allowing the user to stay inside without worrying about running out of oxygen.

    Yellow Eco Shield (*)
    • Has an irregular and erratic shape that is hard to control, having a tendency to spontaneously release exploding outward.

    Dark Eco Shield (*)
    • Sphere shaped, it's almost as powerful as the red eco shield and lasts as long almost as long as the green eco shield.
    • It stops all the attacks that hit it

    Light Eco Shield (*)
    • This shield is identical to the dark eco shield

    White Eco Shield (*)
    • Very powerful, sphere shaped, and lasts a long time.
    • It utilizes the power and length of the green eco, and builds on it with the other ecos, making it almost as strong as the neutral eco shield.

    Black Eco Shield (*)
    • Very powerful, sphere shaped, with a very short time that it can be used.
    • It vaporises attacks that hit it, creating a poisonous vapor that harms anyone near the shield including the user.

    Neutral Eco Shield (*)
    • The most powerful shield of all, it's sphere shaped and lasts for a very long time.
    • It absorbers attacks that hit it, using it to power the shield making it stronger.

    Mixture Eco Shield ((*))
    • By mixing ecos the user can get shields with the combined effects of the ecos used.


Eco Signature:

    Every character has an eco signature. Their eco signature is the eco that is created inside their body and contains the eco necessary for life. Each individual's eco signature is slightly different from everyone else's and it's strength depends both on the character's state of health and their strength, the stronger and healthier the character, the stronger their eco signature is.
