if your microwave has a leak it could fry the babies brain as well First of all, the chances of that happening are so incredibly slim that that is just ridiculous. Second, microwaves by the time that they'd reach the child would do nothing more then give a slight burn on the skin if anything.

TBH, I find it unlikely that radiation as mild as a microwave's would even penetrate the womb.

I'll leave this one to DVM, he is better at arguing than me. (I would know, I've gotten my butt handed to me by him before)

Dude i heard it from every science teacher ive ever had and on the news when i woke up one morning and my mom was watching the news when i walked into the living room and it said that. I've heard other things from you about what your science teachers say, and frankly I don't trust them. Nor do I trust random things on the news. Microwaves are not powerful radiation, it takes little to stop the charged partials. A microwave would slow to a non-damaging speed by the time it would pass through the skin and muscle around the womb. This may have been a problem when the microwave was first made because it was at a much higher power and had a great potential of protecting partials out side of the microwave, but todays microwaves are not powerfully enough and do not malfunction in such ways without someone tampering with it. Now, get back on topic.
