Zora dashed inside, almost stumbling on the doorframe as she did so. As soon as she stooped running, she nearly collapsed from exhaustion. She soon shook it off and stood back up, however. "Gyehh... I can't even remember the last time I ran like that..." she muttered, clearly out of breath from all the running.

Esaul pointed at a nearby chair. He seemed out of breath too, but he held it in. "Sit. I'll grab some water." With that, he walked into what he thought was the kitchen. It wasn't, so he went into another room. This went on for a few minutes, and finally Esaul came back with a glass of water.

Zora staggered over to the chair and obediently sat like she was told to. Well, more like she fell into a slump in it. She watched him as he got the water, and accepted it gratefully. "Mmph... Thanks..." she muttered, taking a sip from the glass. She then looked around at the room she was sitting in. After finishing with that, she proceeded to finish the rest of the glass and readjust herself in the chair.

"Teach me to meddle with affairs..." Esaul muttered to himself. He glanced at Zora. "Are you feeling alright?" He asked her. Leaving his business problems behind, he turned toward Zora and sat next to her. "I've missed you so much..."

"Mmmm... I'm feeling fine now." Zora answered. She took a quick glance around the room again before continuing. "I too have missed you greatly... It is so nice to see you again after such a long time..." she sighed, looking straight at him. She tried to look elsewhere, but her eyes kept drifting to him.

Esaul snickered. He crossed his legs, before turning and speaking to Zora again. "How are the others? They too thought I was dead, I take it? Especially your sister." Esaul allowed himself a chuckle as he remembered an incident involving a lake, dragons and foxes.

"They're doing fine. Yes, they did come to believe that eventually. My sister is actually still in disbelief, or so she's told me. Go figure." Zora smiled at the thought of that incident with the lake. She couldn't help but snicker herself at the thought. She could tell he was thinking the same thing as well, by the way he was laughing some himself.

Esaul looked up, still snickering some. "Well, after all we've been through, I'd say she was at least slightly happy to lose a burden." He shrugged, most unlike him. He usually dwelled on thoughts like this. "Ah well. Can't be helped, I suppose."

"Never can." Zora said, "But they all missed you quite a lot. Especially me..." she sighed sadly. She paused for a moment, dwelling on the thought of how devastated she really had been. It had taken both of her sisters AND her best friend to keep her from killing herself, and now she was glad they had stopped her. "But you're here now, and I'm here now, and that is what matters, right?"

Esaul grinned in agreement. Attempting to restrain himself, he found that he could no longer, and reached over and hugged Zora as tight as possible, yet not enough to hurt her. He felt the lustrous crimson hair again, still smiling.
