Name: Tod
Species: Ottsell
Gender: Male
Age: 18
Height: 1' 8"
Body type: umm...small
Fur: Mostly black with white patches on his hands, feet, and chest.
Eyes: Yellow
Occupation: Writer and poet
Powers: None
Weapons: None
Usefulness in a fight: Absolutely none
Personality: Tod is best described as loud, annoying and often overly dramatic. He wants to be a famous writer and poet one day so he often goes into long winded, Shakespearean style monolouges about whatever might be going on at the time. This, as one might assume, wears on peoples nerves quite easily. He also has a tendency to burst into random songs which he often makes up on the spot and continues singing and resinging them until he feels that they are "perfect". Very few people have the patience to deal with Tod's... Unique attitude for long with the exception of his wise old grandmother, Ochubo. All of this considered, he really is a good natured fellow.
History: Tod grew up in a fairly traditional Ottsell family. Both his parents were farmers and, as such, ecxpected Tod to follow in their
footsteps. He, however, had slightly differing ideas on what he wanted to do with his life. You see, Tod had grown up reading a lot of books in his free time. He was captivated by their ability to take the reader into a world so much unlike his own... so much less boring. He would constantly daydream of adventuring to far off lands and writing about the things he saw and experienced for the world to see. He began skipping out on helping his parents in the garden in order to sit and write poetry under a tree somewhere. It was on his 18th birthday, upon returning home from one such session, that Tod was surprised to find his belongings neatly packed and sitting outside of his room. His parents informed him that if he could not straighten up his act and start getting some work done around the farm then he was no longer welcome in their home. Tod, calling their bluff, wasted no time in gathering up his things and heading off into the adventure he had always dreamt of. Turns out, though, that adventure also included paying for your own meals, not having anywhere to sleep, and many other not-so-fun things. Well, after about a week of this Tod was pretty fed up and turned to the one person who had never yet let him down. His grandmother, Ochobu. She welcomed him with open arms (and a whack on the head for not coming to her sooner.) and he has been staying with her ever since.
