As many of you may have notice, G&F was down for the majority of the 19th of February.
This was an issue with a script in the server. The updates that Proboards has been doing still has some glitching and bugging to them. A glitch in the system caused one or more of the server scripts the not read properly. This problem effected servers 98, 99, 100, 101, 102, 104, 105, 106, and 107. Causing over 200 forums to go down in the same manner as G&F, which is on server 98.
My apologies for not getting on the earlier, but I was unable to get online until late due to school. Once I was able to get online and see the error message I sent a message to Proboads concerning the problem. The Proboads staff got to work on the problem very quickly after receiving the message and G&F was back up and running only a few hours after receiving the message, and I am grateful to Proboards for the quick response and fixing of the problem once becoming aware of it.
Though there is one thing concerning this problem that everyone needs to be aware of. If you ever get the message saying that "there are too many connection" DO NOT refresh the page every few seconds. Constantly refreshing the page when receiving that message only makes the problem worse and causes it to take long to fix. If you need to refresh the page to see if the site is back or not, do it every couple of minuets or so, just make sure that the refreshes are spread apart.
My apologies for the inconveniences, hopefully the problem has been fixed for good.
